In Ohio, U.S.A, a teenager was recently killed after a young man known as T.J went on a gun rampage gunning down four other students, killing one and seriously injuring at least three others. The twisted Lane is said to of announced the school shooting rampage on Twitter and Facebook, and a number of cryptic clues were posted in the months leading up to the incident.
At least one person was reported as being shot dead and four have been shot and injured in the Ohio high school shooting rampage. A student called TJ is thought to be behind the latest school shooting rampage in which a number of people have been shot, and if reports are accurate teaching staff may have saved the lives of others by forcing the shooter to flee the school.
Over 1,100 students attend Chardon High, which is nearby to other schools in the area. In this sad incident One person thought to be a student has died, four more were wounded in the brutal shooting. These kind of incidents are very rare, though not uncommon in the gun capital of the world, where many carry firearms on a day to day basis. The Chardon High School shooting suspect, who has already been identified by the mass media as being in custody after giving himself up to bystanders, is believed to be a student. Student Nate Mueller was slightly wounded in the shooting, and a number of students identified the gunman as a student called T.J. Lane. Some victims are being treated at Hillcrest Hospital, or have been taken by helicopter to MetroHealth Medical Center
It has been said that the suspect had posted threatening messages on social networking services Twitter and Facebook before the shootings. Police were able to recover a handgun from the scene and have passed it to the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for examination.
Lane had approched a number of students, then started taking shots. The student is also known as T.J and was reported to be standing in the canteen area with a gun, and it seems had specific targets in mind, suggesting he had some motive.

Cases like this are really sickening, never should your life be in danger like this in a school. It is important that appropriate security arrangements are taken. Metal detector detection equipment could be used, and staff members could be equipped with body armour, that seems reasonable. Too shocked to say much about this, will think and post a comment later. Following his death the mainstream media reported that he had shot at police, that he had been executed, that he had been unlawfully killed, and many other stories with un named sources.
The media whipped the public into a state of frenzy to a certain extent and this was combined with rumours on twitter and facebook, reports of witnesses to the shooting saying that it was an execution.
The truth so far appears to be that no gun was fired, he may have had a gun, though it does not appear to of been drawn, the bullet in the police radio radio was a police bullet, and the case has the potential to turn into an unlawful killing case, if reasonable force was not used. Riots London 2011
Within a few days of the death after receiving no explanation of what had happened family and friends marched from the Broadwater Farm estate to the Police station in Tottenham to seek answers to questions about the death, and to receive reassurances that it was being investigated.
Throughout the day of the 07/08/2011 there were rumours on twitter and facebook that a riot was going to happen. In fact as early as the 05/08/2011 after the mans death there were threats on the internet of a riot, and it appeared that police had not been monitoring the social networks, and had not been alerted to the potential of a riot situation.

There appeared to be a breakdown in communication between the police, the family of the dead man, and the IPCC who were investigating the case.
At around 9pm when it began getting dark, and the family had waited 5 hours with no news, a great number of people descended on the police station, adding numbers to the origional gathering whihc had contained around 150 family and friends since around 16:00 hrs on that day.
The police station was attacked after two police cars had been set on fire. The police were unprepared for the violence that ensued, and could not muster enough men to control the ensuing mayhem. Tottenham suffered extensive looting, arson, burglary, violence, and damage is estimated at being in the tens of millions of pounds. Residents were in shock and a deep fear set in, with criminals and anarchists running rampant.
The violence and looting quickly like a frenzy spread by social networks and the media, extending to neighbouring parts of London like Croydon and Lewisham and the roads leading into London became jammed with criminals and chancers looking to loot the UK capitol.
This frenzy continued and spread to other UK cities such as Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, and Liverpool. At one point it looked as though England was going to descend into a state of anarchy and desperate residents were shocked, and unable to protect themselves from the looters in the absence of the police, who had the impossible task of fighting multiple crimes, in multiple areas.
This problem happened in other major cities to varying extents, then after 3 days kind of burned itself out, and calm was restored.
The offenders have been from all sections of society, from army troops, to social workers, to the unemployed, and all are being given extra tough sentences and over 1000 have been arrested since the disorder, identified through CCTV, Facebook, and police databases. Many crying in court as they realise the seriousness of their actions, and the almost certainty of a custodial sentance.
The fear generated by the rioting cause a big surge in internet traffic looking for stab vests, bullet proof vest, and items like batons and baseball bats.
There have been questions as to the legality of increasing sentances as a deterrent to others, a man was jailed for 6 months for stealing a bottle of water.
Most members of the public are baying for blood, and want to see harsh punishments, and to be honest, you cant blame them.
The causes of the riots will be investigated, lessons should be learnt. The country needs to fix the problem.

The Queen of England and the UK has offered condolences to her subjects in Norway, and told of her sadness at what has happened.
What is going to be a long search for missing bodies is still continuing in the lake and surrounding islets, where so many have been slaughtered. Divers are on the scene to recover corpses.
There are many photographs which have been taken by a number Norwegians photographers who arrived during the shooting. The pictures show dozens of heads bobbing in the waters of the lake and people swimming for their lives.
After the carnage the island appears to make a peaceful scene, with the lake calm and no obvious signs of the massacre that had taken place, but when you look closer you can see blood and bullet holes.
Marius Helander Roset who is one of the survivors of the shooting told the Norwegian newspaper VG that the gunman had tried to lure him out of his hiding place, but that he stayed where he was.

The Norwegian King Harald and Queen Sonja went to the hotel where survivors and family members are staying, to start to recover from their ordeals.
Ove Vanebo, who is the leader of the Progressive Party’s youth-wing, an opposition party to the ruling Labor Party said that Breivik had been an active member at the beginning of the 2000s though he later resigned as his views became more extreme, and possibly found new friends who shared his beliefs.
The leader of the youth camp a man called Eskil Pedersen made a statement which said that the shooting at his camp had been beyond his worst nightmares.
Another man was detained outside the hotel where the Prime Minister was visiting survivors. When speaking he told reporters that he was a member of Labour’s youth party and had been stopped for carrying a knife in his pocket, purely for self defence.

There are said to be tensions in Oslo between left and right wing extremists, and there are fears that the Norway killings could spark rioting.
The mass killer Anders Behring Breivik had now been confirmed as being former member of Fremskrittspartiet which is Labour’s main opposition party.

Felleskjopet have said that the bomber had bought around 6 tons of fertiliser as long ago as May 4, for his farm where he grows vegetables. This was used to make the Oslo bombs.

The bomb blast was so strong that buildings and the surrounding area were severely damaged.
It is thought at least two bombs went off in Oslo, one targeting the Presidential offices. Nearby streets were strewn with glass and debris. The bomber Anders travelled north after to attack the youth camp.

This appears to be the work of a lone madman, and you can do little to stop that. Many people argue that guns should be more widely available.
Forums like Arm Britain argue that if guns were legal to responsible citizens these instances could be better contained, and many people look at the U.S.A and gun crime there and say it is not right to have guns, due to the higher number of deaths per 1000 population compared with the UK.
The trouble is the many criminals and potentially highly dangerous individuals all over the EU and worldwide have guns, and lots of them.
Action needs to be taken on taking guns away from criminals, and making tougher sentences apply to gun crime, which has too many victims, and the numbers are growing, worldwide.
It seems no one had a gun at the holiday camp, and Police took more than an hour to arrive. One person there with a gun would have had a chance to stop the massacre.
Norway is a strong nation and this tragedy will make them stronger, as it made London stronger at many times in its history, not to mention so many other bombings, which are all terrible.

The first pictures of the scum called Stelios Morfis from Zante, now facing court trial, who killed Robert Sebbage have been released. Although the exact circumstances are still not clear, what is clear is that this was a cowardly attack, and for no valid reason, apart from madness a young man lost his life and others were injured.
The young taxi driver is a known trouble maker and why he was allowed to be a taxi driver remains to be seen. Not the type of man you would want your daughter getting a lift home with. In his former school Hurst Community College pupils are preparing to hold minute’s silence in Robers memory, and over 7000 people have payed tribute on a Facebook page set up in his memory.
Before Stelios Morfis had been arrested in Zakynthos in connection with the murder of British teenager Robert Sebbage there had been a number of other serious crimes on the island, some committed by tourists, others, mainly the more serious crimes appear to of been committed by locals.

Morfis was actually arrested earlier this month for punching a man in the face, though these charges were later dropped due to lack of evidence, and an unwilling victim, who did not want to pursue the matter.
A Shop owner in the area Nikos Liveras, 52, spoke about Morfis and said that he was known for having a short fuse, and bad temper.
He had recently exploded at a number of people for no reason at all and has been involved in many arguments with tourists.
