In what is being called the Woolwich revenge execution, Islamists killed and then beheaded an unarmed British soldier in the South East London Islamist stronghold of Woolwich.
The most shocking attack on the streets of London since a man was hacked to death with a Samauri sword, which I believe was last year. In Woolwich eyewitnesses have described how they saw the seemingly crazed attackers hacking at the victim.
They then proceeded to pose for pictures with the headless corpse. When police arrived on the scene, it became obvious that the men were not going to give up without force being used. They proceeded to charge at police whilst wielding meat cleavers and professional butchers knives.
One onlooker who identified himself as James, but was too scared to provide further details, has said that he had seen two black men frantically chopping at a man, especially around the neck area. James believes the dead soldier is in his 20s, and that the attack was like killing a a piece of meat.
He told told LBC radio that They were hacking at a defenseless poor guy, and he was totally shocked.
Reports suggest that two men were hacking at him, chopping him, cutting him, to quote eye witnesses. There is believed to be extensive camera footage of the attack.
Describing the murderers as animals James also told how he saw the two fanatics drag their lifeless victim from the pavement into the middle of the road, where they proceeded to chop off his head.
Describing the two guys as crazed, James cried when he told his story. I will not name James as I think he has a right to privacy at this time.
Following the beheading the men then stood around, one of them holding the head to the cameras. They were waving knives and a gun, asking any people nearby with a camera to film them. Many of the people who were watching were too shocked to escape. Or maybe they did not feel threatened. The killers asked shocked onlookers to take pictures of them, believing that it was crucial their message was heard. A message can be read into the incident, though at the moment I do not know exactly what that is.
The men were running up and down the road, urging people to take pictures, and upload to YouTube. Some reports have suggested that the butchers were waiting for the police to arrive, intended to commit death by police, in other words to be shot by the police.
Armed police arrived on the scene around 20 minutes after the execution. At that point the man with the beanie hat, the taller man, proceeded to charge at the police vehicle, officers emerged and shot him in the chest.
Julia Wilders, 51, who lives near the scene of the execution, made a statement that she saw one of the attackers run towards the police, clutching two meat cleavers, evidence suggests that one was a knife and one a meat cleaver, like Bill the Butcher in the film, Gangs of New York.
An Easingwold killer has been jailed for life after committing an atrocious murder of an innocent van driver, by cutting his throat. Murderer James Brabbs will spend much of the rest of his life behind bars after admitting that he killed the van driver, whom he had known personally.
He appeared to show some remorse, but that was not enough to avoid a significant jail term of almost 30 years. James Brabbs showed during his free life that he was a monster, and a danger to members of the public. The murder was a culmination of many years of violent and anti social behavior.
The cold blooded killer was jailed yesterday 20/05/2013 for life. Even his barrister did not seem to support him, after describing his actions as the “atrocious murder of a van driver”. It emerged during the trial that that James Brabbs had been on bail for carrying weapons at the time he stabbed to death innocent Mohammed Saleem Khan.
Brabbs was well known to the police, and had been arrested with a seven-inch kitchen knife and a knuckle duster, following a search, just three weeks before the killing in September. Previously the knife fiend had been jailed for four years in 2009 for two robberies, at least one of which involved a blade.
This is the type of man who shows no concern for others safety, and if you were to cross him in a darkened alley, it may not have a positive outcome. At least for now he will not be free to kill, rob, and murder for quite some time.
During one of the previous robberies for which he received the 4 year sentence, he had shamelessly held a knife to the throat of a young male car driver, demanding money, mobile telephone and car keys in July 2008. Police believe he may be responsible for a long list of violent crimes across Teeside.
A month before the car jacking and knife robbery he had been one of three rejects of society, who carried out a brutal street mugging in which a couple were robbed punched and kicked in the city of York.
On the 22/09/2012, he had befriended victim Mr Khan, 36, helping Mr Khan to delivered shower products around North Yorkshire in a hire van. Mr Khan gave him the job partly out of pity to what he thought was a reformed criminal.
Deciding Mr Khan would make a good robbery target, Brabbs armed himself with a kitchen knife to rob family man Khan, originally from Luton. He believed that Khan had money and a stash of cannabis. This belief has never been proven, and no drugs or cash were recovered, despite police searches of Khans home and business.
Khan, in the drivers seat of a hire van, resisted a request by Brabbs to take him to his money and drug stash, 27-year-old Brabbs then proceeded to get angry and stabbed him in the throat, causing massive bleeding and loss of life. Brabbs fled, leaving Khan to bleed to death. Teesside Crown Court heard that Brabbs, from Easingwold, but of no fixed abode, was a danger to society. He will have to serve a minimum term of 29 years before he will even be considered for release.
Initially Brabbs had denied the murder, and he had been three days into his trial when he decided to change his plea. It is thought that this resulted after pressure from his legal team, who believed he would get a reduced sentence, but they were wrong.
Barrister, Tim Roberts, QC, has said in a statement that Brabbs had decided over the weekend, after taking time to think in his cell, that he would not continue with his “sham” defence. There have been suggestions of undue pressure being places on Brabbs from his legal team.
Perhaps in a concerted attempt to reduce sentence, or perhaps Brabbs does have a heart, the Judge, Simon Bourne-Arton, QC, was told that Brabbs did not want to go into the witness box and tell lies about what happened, and that Brabbs was ready to admit guilt. Roberts made a concerted effort to get the sentence reduced, but the judge was having none of it.
Brabbs, in a shameless act of self preservation, and an attempt to avoid full justice, offered apologies to Khans family in the public gallery. His apology to the family of Mohammed Khan for the atrocious act that he committed may or may not be accepted by the family, though to me it is a hollow act of a condemned man.
Before setting sentence the court heard that Brabbs has previous convictions for many crimes such as arson, burglary, assault and carrying weapons going back to his schooldays, a career criminal and danger to the public.
Judge Bourne-Arton summed up the evidence well and told Brabbs: “I have concluded, in short, that you are a thoroughly dangerous individual.”
I took a look at the Syrian lung eating video from a few different sources. The video was originally known as the heart eating video, and is shocking. To me it looks like a heart, though it could be a piece of a lung. In reality we have little reason to be shocked, we see this kind of thing in the movies all the time, and killing another human in war, is more shocking that a bit of alleged Cannibalism. The Syrian war has claimed over 70 thousand lives according to some accounts.
This is real life, a brutal war, and should be reported on, discussed, and offers us the chance of a greater moral debate about many things, including the act detailed in the video. It is my opinion Abu Sakkar is a man who needs help, and has found himself in a most terrible situation. He should not be judged by those not in his situation, and he should be offered protection, not hate or harm.
Possibly a great warrior, fighting for the greater good, one act does not change that. A man who is the product of a society and situation not of his making, cannot be held to our rules. He is just a man trying to survive in a hellish environment from which he cannot escape. We are not fit to judge him, we do not have the moral authority to do so.
After the war he should be left in peace, not tried as a war criminal when he did not agree to those rules, or have modern warfare training. He should not be demonized, war does terrible things to people, I am sure he has seen people die who he loves. Give your love to Sakkar and like this video if you agree that Sakkar needs love not hate. Peace in Syria! Spread the love not the hate.
Cannibalism is the act of eating those of your own species, legally some definitions suggest consent is needed, though from a dead body no consent can be given. It is widely accepted that during times of famine etc that eating the dead is not morally wrong, as there are cases where it is the only means of survival.
Cannibalism is not illegal in the U.S.A, though instances can come under desecration of corpses or other law. If someone tried or had killed your family, yourself, or those you loved, or you were stuck on a desert island with no food and a dead body, is it morally wrong? Would you eat your own arm if you were without food and dying? It is all about the extremes people go to in bizarre situations. Most people are going to be dead against Sakkar, though I think we need to look at the man, not just one thing he has done. Is a dead body human when it is dead? or is it just meat. There is a wide moral discussion to be had on this subject.
Mayhem erupted in a serious shooting in New Orleans yesterday 12/05/2013. It can can only be described as unprovoked madness, on an important day of the year, U.S Mother’s Day. It is fair to say that whoever carried out these actions, must of had very bad mothers. The incident appears to be gang related, though the mainstream media are not describing it as such at this time. To me it seems likely that paraders were caught in crossfire, in which the gunmen showed no regards for innocents.
The facts appear to be that a number of gunmen, around 3, had opened fire on the parade, celebrating mothers day. It is a miracle that no one was killed after 19 people suffered injury, some grazes from bullet ricochets, and many serious gunshot wounds, though none life threatening it appears. One man was shot more than once in the chest. This incident also shows how good medical care given promptly as a great effect on survival rates from gunshot wounds, even basic first aid can make a great difference, like stemming bleeding.
Final figures suggest 19 people were injured as a result of the incidence on Sunday when gunmen, which have not yet been apprehended, opened fire callously and indescrimitary at the Mother’s Day parade in New Orleans. Many of the victims were grazed by bullets that ricocheted. It seems likely that automatic weapons were used though this has not yet been confirmed?
The local authorities are looking for three people who were seen running away from the scene, immediately after the shootings. New Orleans residents are being warned to stay alert, and carry their firearms with them when venturing outside.
More than 100 people were participating in the residential festival, on Frenchmen Street, in the north of the city. This is when the gunmen opened fire spraying the crowd with rounds. The victims had been merrily marching in what is known as a second line parade, some reports suggest a homophobic motive behind the shootings, and that the event is popular mainly within the gay community of New Orleans.
A shooting of this kind, which occurred at around 13:45 hrs on the 12/05/2013, local time, has shocked residents of the great city, with some highly worried at the rising crime rates over the past years, according to reports on the web. The ambush happened at an intersection, which local news websites like NOLA.com reported on shortly after the incident started.
Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas has said:
About 12 people were initially said to be injured, but the number was revised to 19 as more victims continued to forward. It appears “two or three people,” for an unknown reason, started shooting at the crowd. Ten adult men, seven adult women, a 10-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl were struck by bullets. Both of the child victims had graze wounds to the body and were in good condition, while a man and a woman were reported to be in surgery Sunday evening.
Another police spokesman Remi Braden has said:
“Many of the victims were grazed, some by bullets that ricocheted. At this point, there are no fatalities, and most of the wounds are not life-threatening, authorities saw three people running away from the scene immediately after the shooting. One suspect was described as a man aged between 18 and 22. Detectives are conducting interviews, retrieving any surveillance video in the area and, of course, collecting all evidence. This is an extremely unusual occurrence, and we’re confident that we will make swift arrests.”
The Mayor of New Orleans, Mitch Landrieu, had strongly urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward, and help the community in apprehending the suspects and making the city a safer place. This was the second shooting in the area last week.
It is now being dubbed the Greenock hotel horror and the Premier Inn stabbing, where a Lib Dem mother was killed, most probably by her daughter. Initial thoughts were that this was the result of a third party attack from a mentally ill individual, though Police appear at this time to believe that both women had been fighting. A knife would suggest premeditated murder, as there appeared no reason for either of the women to be carrying a knife.
Police will now be scouring CCTV, and be keen to speak with critically injured Nicola McDonough when she awakes following the double stabbing murder. The stab attack was discovered following residents awaking on the morning of 10/05/2013 at the Premier Inn in Greenock, to find blood splattered walls and floors.
Police arrived early in the morning to a macabre scene, both women were taken to hospital, Margaret was dead on arrival, although unconcious Nicola still had a pulse and was operated on. Former Lib Dem council candidate Margaret McDonough is confirmed dead and her daughter Nicola is still critically injured.
A police officer is now standing guard outside Room 25 in the Greenock Travel inn, since yesterday where Margaret McDonough was found fatally injured.
Police are still doing all they can to establish the motives behind the Greenock stabbing, beyond doubt, and whether anyone else was involved in the violence. Initial reports of a foreign national with mental health problems, do not seem as likely now. Sources suggest that the injuries are consistent to an altercation between the two women, and that a knife was found at the scene.
Nicola, who is a 23-year-old social work graduate, remains in seriously critical condition. She was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital last night 11/05/2012 for life saving surgery.
She had been found in the corridor, outside the Greenock hotel’s Room 25 early on Friday morning 10/05/2013, by a night porter.
The brutal killing of the two women, members of the McDonough family, from Paisley, is shocking. The hotel does have a good CCTV network, and this will be vital in establishing who has carried out this attack. Margaret was a foster carer, and a former Lib Dem council candidate. She had booked into the hotel which is 15 miles from the family home, late on Thursday afternoon – 09/05/2013. This is strange, staying in a hotel just 15 miles from home. An alternative theory now is that she lured her daughter to the hotel, to carry out a murder. After booking in she left, and did not return until the early hours of Friday 10/05/2013. Access to the hotel is restricted, and after midnight there is a control card system to deter intruders.
Detective Inspector David Wagstaff has said:
“We are currently trying to piece together the movements of Margaret and Nicola. There have been several sightings of Margaret in the Paisley area on Thursday morning until about 10am. She and Nicola were also seen that day in a red Suzuki Swift car, registration SL56 CBF. I’d like to speak to anyone who may have seen this vehicle or anyone who may have seen Margaret or Nicola since 9am on Thursday.”
Detectives have taken DNA samples from the guests at the hotel who were there within the hours of Margaret being found. Guests complained that they were not allowed to leave until they had been swabbed and questioned by police.
Officers who were investigating the incident also took forced guests to have their photographs taken, after locking down the hotel and gathering guests together during breakfast in the Brewers Fayre pub next to the hotel.
A number of guests were at the hotel for a wedding, and a number of guests were reported to police for breach of the peace the night before.
Margaret also had three sons, Kevin, 43, Michael, 31, and Matthew, 20, she most recently worked as a foster carer for Renfrewshire Council. She was a popular women and had stood as the Lib Dem candidate for Johnstone North, Kilbarchan and Lochwinnoch, in local elections last May.
Nicola is a former pupil of Paisley’s St Andrew’s Academy, she had graduated just last month from the University of the West of Scotland with a BA (Hons) in social work. She worked with the charity Cosgrove Care.
Neighbour Scott Brown, 61, has stated that he saw Margaret leave her home on Thursday and she seemed perfectly normal. “I waved to her in her car and she waved back. She had gone into the house a few minutes earlier and had gone straight out. Margaret seemed fine and I did not detect any anxiety. I was in the front garden at the time. She was a great friend and neighbour. Nicola was also a lovely girl. There are also three sons and they are just a lovely family. Michael was the oldest and he is in the RAF. Nicola had just graduated and was talking about going into nursing or social work. You really could not have met a nicer woman than Margaret or a nicer family. I really am in deep shock.”
Nicola’s dad, 56-year-old Thomas McDonough, of Blairgowrie, Perthshire is Margaret’s ex-husband. He is keeping vigil at his daughter’s hospital bedside. Two policewomen arrived at Margaret’s home yesterday 11/05/2013 around 16:00 hrs, they were met by a female relative and left around 45 minutes later carrying boxes, presumably containing possible evidence.
Councillor Eileen McCartin, leader of the Lib Dems in Paisley has said “My sympathies go out to all her family and to Nicola especially, in the hope that she will recover from this terrible tragedy. I have known Margaret for many years. She was a strong woman, very committed to all she did, both personally and within politics, and her death is a tragic loss to us all.”
Chief Superintendent Alan Speir has said: “We are appealing for information after the two women were found with serious injuries at the Premier Inn hotel in Greenock. We are unable at this time to establish whether there are any suspicious circumstances. I would appeal to anyone who saw these two women in their vehicle to come forward to police. We have been unable as yet to speak to Margaret’s daughter due to her ill health, and I really need anyone who can help us put together their last known movements to come forward due to the seriousness of the incident.”
Premier Inn owners Whitbread have released only one statement: “We are helping police with their inquiries.”
A man reported to be Adam Hepburn, a rugby player and common riding follower, from Hawick, has died following a shooting in the rural location at around 23:45 hrs last night, 08/05/2013. The man died from blood-loss leading to heart failure in Hawick Cottage Hospital. 22-year-old Adam who was from the scenic Scottish Borders died following a shot he received in the leg. At this point there is no suggestion it is a murder, a tragic accident is more likely. He may of accidentally shot himself, or received a blast from a nearby firearm. This incident took place far away from some urban hell-hole, in a close knit community where people lead a beautiful way of life.
The alarm was raised by worried locals shortly before midnight on Tuesday after sounds of a firearm being discharged were heard throughout the village, a rural location outside Hawick. It is thought that by this time he was already on the way to the hospital with a friend.
Another man also rang 999 to report the incident, the man is through to of been driving his friend (Adam Hepburn), who had been shot. He was driven to Hawick Cottage Hospital, which does not have an accident and emergency department, though one would presume does have trained doctors.
The injured man was not able to be treated sufficiently at the Cottage Hospital, and had to suffer the long journey to the nearest suitable hostpital. He was transferred to the Borders General Hospital, arriving unconcious, and this is where he sadly died. Some reports indicate that the injury received was from a shotgun and it was most probably a case of accidental discharge whilst shooting rabbits. Technically through the proper use of a firearm these accidents should not happen, and a full investigation should reveal what went wrong. It could be that drink was involved, and a safety catch was not active etc.
The man was unconscious when the transfer ambulance arrived at the Borders General hospital, he had a wound from a high velocity bullet through his left leg, and was bleeding heavily.
Hawick hostpital had administered CPR and this continued, though he was pronounced dead shorly after being taken to the Borders General Hospital.
Police are saying that their inquiries are still at an early stage, and have no further comment. Forensic teams are examining the vehicle parked in front of the reception at Hawick Cottage Hospital, thought to be the one he was initially dropped off in. It is believed the vehicle contains bullets and a firearm. There is a large area in front of the hospital building which remains cordoned off as of 14:00 hrs 08/05/2013.
Current reports indicate that a Police Scotland spokesman has said that “Police are investigating the death of a 22-year-old man who died from wounds sustained as a result of a firearms discharge. “The incident happened around 11.45pm last night, in a rural location on the outskirts of Hawick.
“He was taken to the Borders General Hospital, however passed away in the early hours of this morning.”
The Hawick community and Roxburghshire has had a few recent incidents of violence in the community, although a few violence related stories found on google, do not provide conclusive proof of serious gang problems or violence in Hawick, this is something Hawick residents may or may not be aware of. From my point of view, Adam appeared to have a lovely life, in a beautiful place, and some of the pictures on his facebook are inspiring. The dead mans name was Adam W Hepburn, who had been a student from the 2002 class at Hawick High School. He is survived by his brother John C Hepburn, mother, Katherine E Hepburn and father, Walter I Hepburn (ref electoral roll). He is also survived by Stephanie Brand, his partner (ref Facebook).
The lesson to be learned from this may be to be very careful with guns, especially if under the influence of alcohol. It also highlights the need for outstanding medical training and facilities both sides of the border. I do not believe a leg gun shot should be fatal, if proper treatment if given quickly enough (by anyone who can be instructed on what to do). Tonight is the Picking Night when the new cornet is chosen for this years festivities, according to local reports in Hawick it is all very subdued, with the community in shock at the loss.
Article amended 08/05/2013 21:10 to remove references to gangs, reports suggest a wonderful community, currently in shock, and that Adam was a popular man, with a young child/baby, who will be sorely missed. Overall he appears to be quite an inspirational character, whose death has the potential to make a great change and difference, out of tragic circumstances.
Three men have been arrested after a young man was stabbed in the head. The attack took place in Harwich, Essex in the early hours on Sunday morning. The thee have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The victim James Johnson, 20, is now fighting for his life at a London hospital. The knife was left embedded in his head, after the handle broke off during the attack.
The attack took place around 02:00 hrs on Sunday 06/05/2012 in Mill Lane, Harwich. Three local villains aged 22, 23 and 34, are now being held in custody following the stabbing. James Johnson is now in a critical but stable condition, police have said. The blade of the knife is being examined, and police are asking members of the public to look out for the knife handle which they think was discarded near the scene.
Det Chief Insp Simon Parkes, of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, is taking charge of the investigation. The victim is lucky to be alive after being stabbed in the head. Doctors will be monitoring him closely for signs of brain damage, though in theory he could make a full recovery. The force needed to embed a blade in the head is quite substantial, the skull is surprisingly strong though the back of the head is often less well protected. Of course there is no definite rule, and this varies from person to person.
The law does suggest that if a knife or weapon is used, even if by just one person in a group, the whole group can be criminally liable for the use of the weapon. Police will be carefully questioning those arrested, to see who was aware of the knife, and if there is criminal responsibility for all those present at the attack. One thing is for sure, whoever did this must be quite a dangerous individual.
Thoughts should go out to the victims family and friends. The exact circumstances relating to the incident should be known in due course, and some kind of confrontation between the victim and his attackers is quite probably. In this case I would suspect he was known to his attackers, and may even have been friends with them. The fact that police made the arrests so soon suggests that it was an unplanned attack, and there may be a number of witnesses. Many people are now taking to wearing armoured baseball caps and other armoured hats to protect from head injuries, which are mainly blunt trauma related.

A young man was found dead and since then the case has been surrounded by mystery, conspiracy theory, and doubt. Personally I get the feeling that a foreign spy service may have been to blame for the death. You would think things like this should not happen, and that international spy games of murder, mystery and danger should not happen any more, or at least not result in death. The sickening thought that a foreign, possibly allied government or nation could be responsible for the death of a UK citizen is disgusting, and steps should be taken long term to stop spy related deaths like this.
The Gareth Williams murder case has not been shrouded in secrecy as you would expect, and police it appears have been free to investigate the murder. I call it a murder because there is a good chance that it was as such. The inquest into his death heard that traces of another persons DNA were found on the zipper and lock of a sports bag that contained the body of the UK codebreaker. We call him a code breaker though of course the exact details of his employment would not be known. The fact that the bag was locked, and technically (though granted not impossibly, Gareth Williams could not of got in the bag and locked it himself, without a degree of skill. The theory that it was an elaborate suicide attempt cannot be ruled out, nor can theories that the intelligent man had climbed into the bag himself as part of a sex game, though what kind of game would require such a feat is anyones guess.
CCTV footage of the victim is available, and it shows him with a worried look on his face prior to the killing, though this in itself is not enough to say that he was in fear or worried about something. Gareth Williams had worked for Britain’s secret eavesdropping service GCHQ and had been attached to the country’s MI6 overseas spy agency, presumably assisting in top secret work, when he was found in the bathtub (within the locked sports bag) of his central London home in August 2010.
Evidence so far suggests there were no signs of struggle, and no drugs or poison were found after tests on Williams’ body. To further deepen the mystery of his death, which has all the hallmarks of a murder mystery film, found beside his body were a woman’s orange wig, lipstick and a newspaper cutting entitled “Top Five Regrets of the Dying”.
His family have claimed that they believe British spy agencies may have been involved in the death. The ongoing Gareth Williams murder inquest into his death is investigating whether Williams could have climbed inside the sports bag and locked it from the inside. The new DNA evidence has deepened the mystery of how he died, technically, that DNA must belong to someone, though police do not have a DNA match on the database..
Detective Chief Inspector Jackie Sebire told the inquest that “two minor components” of DNA not matching Williams’ had been found on the zip and padlock of the North Face sports bag containing his body. It is the Opinion of the Inspector after investigating the scene that a third party must have been involved in the death. Either the third party just put the dead body in the bag, or was in-fact complicit in the killing. Inspector Sebire has said that she would have expected to find Williams’ fingerprints on the floor tiles of the bathroom, where the bag was found. It also appeared that the spy had not damaged the bag or injured his hands, which suggests no attempt was made to get out of the bag, suggesting he was either dead or not able to function due to an untraced drug in his system.
The lifeless body had been found in the fetal position inside the bulging bag. The man had been muscular, and trained regularly. It seems incomprehensible that he would of voluntarily curled up inside the bag. Inspector Sebire believes that there is now limited scope of discovering more forensic evidence. The investigation suffered a setback after detectives spent 18 months investigating a DNA sample found on Williams’ hand that had actually come from a forensic scientist involved in the case, which meant that many man hours were wasted, though has probably not hindered the case in a major way.
In Britain, death inquests must be held when someone dies unexpectedly, violently or from unknown causes. It is good that the Gareth Williams murders being properly investigated, I hope the truth comes out. Possibly he set the death up himself, to look like murder, as an elaborate suicide. My current belief is that he was either murdered by rival security services, or by someone he was having relations with. There may be American, Russian, or Chinese involvement in his death. He may of died from natural causes, that also cannot be ruled out. He may also of been drugged.

The policespecials.com website has been taken over by Anti Monarchists, comprising of what seems to be an unknown group of hacktivists, engaging in hacktavism. Members of the site, and other websites have been recieving emails from the the admin of the policespecials website, suggesting that the e-mail has also been compromised. The group appear to be anti police state and anti monarchy. They are planning to march on the houses of parliament on Novermber the 5th. It could possibly be an elaborate scam, and not a serious organisation. The e-mail (shown below) links to a mysterious domain 2012jubilee.info which shows a number of videos, and details reasons behind the campaign. It appears that during a Jubilee, traditionally, debts should get written off, and the common man should be given a new start.

Three people are being held over the cannibalism claims which are being investigated by police in north-eastern Brazil. Police have confirmed that they have arrested three people who are alleged to of killed at least two women, then proceeded to eat parts of their bodies. They also are said to of used the flesh to make stuffed pastries known as empadas which they then sold to unsuspecting member of the public. The three were arrested on Wednesday.
Inspector Wesley Fernandes of the Garanhuns city police department has said that a man, his wife and also his mistress have all confessed to killing and eating a number of people. Most likely homeless people who were lured to their deaths. There are fears that cannibalism in Brazil could be more widespread than previously believed. Fernandes believed the three belong to a sect that preaches “the purification of the world and the reduction of its population”. They carry out their aim through killing and eating people, though the number of sect members is unknown. Police, investigating a number of disappearances and reports of cannibals were able to trace the three killers after one of the women used a credit card which belonged to one of the victims who had disappeared last month. It seems likely that this could be a case of mass murder.
Cannibalism is very rare throughout the world, though is still probably practiced by small isolated tribes. Sects which carry out these kinds of actions are not widely reported on, though they do exist. There is little you can do to protect yourself from cannibals, though it seems likely these kinds of people would be seriously deranged, and thankfully there have been few reports of cannibalism in the UK, though there have been reports of this kind of thing on a regular basis throughout the years.
